It is a gold plated oval box with a bright blue painted design with drops of red and green to make a bumpy textured lid.  The lid fits very secure.  The measurements are 1 1/2" long and 1 1/4" wide.  It weighs 0.9 oz.  The inside shows a little wear but the exterior has many more years to go.
