Forget the high priced diet foods, the pills that claim to prevent your body from absorbing fat. And why are you paying hundreds of dollars for partial meals that you must supplement with more foods from the grocery store?  There is a common sense approach to weight loss and I have found it!  If you are looking at this listing, then I am probably one of you.  We are both fighting the weight battle. The past 36 years, I have had six spinal surgeries, suffer from Graves Disease, became disabled, unable to exercise or do the things I used to do. Boy was that a good excuse to get fat! Honestly folks, we get fat because we eat the wrong things and too much of them!  We aren't lucky, like our thin counterparts, who can eat what they want and never gain a pound!  It's metabolism!!!  We can't change that, I was born and raised to be overweight I thought. NOT ANYMORE!!! Okay I have'nt reached my goal weight yet!  BUT I WILL!!! On March 17, 2008, I started my diet at a very unhealthy size 24.  After a stressful time with my weight, the remarks, the teasing, and after seeing on one of my medical reports OMG (morbidly obese) I actually went to the first appointment for bariatric surgery.  At size 22 I was not fat enough to be accepted. Hey I am getting older, dieting isn't easy when your older! I decided to eat myself to the acceptable weight. Well duh...it was easier then not eating my way to an acceptable weight.  Yes being fat can do that to you!  It makes us crazy! lol On March 16, 2008, as I pulled the shower curtain open, I saw what I was doing to myself! OMG!!!  I was killing myself, trying to get fat enough to have a surgery, that could kill me and/or change my life forever! I decided to take control!!!  The photo above shows my results thus far.  The jeans I am holding are a size 24.  I am now wearing a size 14, my goal size is a 10.  I will be there by Spring. I've gone from fat to chubby next step, chubby to normal weight. whooowhoooo  To date I have lost 64 lbs!  That is an average of just over 2 pounds per week as suggested by our doctors.  If you lose it slow, you won't put it back on quickly!  There is no feeling of hunger with this diet and you eat normal food and plenty of it! The bottom line is this, we don't need to go broke purchasing pills that promise weight loss.  We don't need to spend huge amounts of money on prepared foods to aide in weight loss, that we can just as easily prepare at home. And we don't need a diet that promises to take off large amounts of weight in just one week. It's unrealistic and that short term diet is taking away water not fat! It is unhealthy!  This is a common sense approach to weight loss!  It works! Imagine my surprise when I went to purchase a winter coat.  Automatically and from habit I reached for the largest size on the rack.  The extra large was way to big for me.  I tried on the large.  the sales lady said I could use a medium.  OMG!!!  I haven't seen a medium in years!  I purchased the large instead because of Wisconsin winters and needing more room to layer sweaters.  I can pretty much say this new coat will be listed in a few months.  Another two pounds gone since I made this listing.  Whooowhoooooo  You won't see unrealistic pictures here that show a woman going from a size 24 to a bikini with a 68 lb. weight loss. lol  These are true pictures.  Maybe I won't see a bikini.
