NEW DESIGN FOR 2008...THIS IS THE BEST OF BOTH PACKS IN ONE! YOUR CHOICE OF FABRIC! ***This listing is for ONE pack as pictured above in your choice of fabric listed.  They measure approximately 4-5x26-28, DOUBLE STITCHED, and are stuffed with 2 POUNDS of cherry pits!!!!  They come in a zipper bag to keep them fresh and also include instructions for use*** PLEASE SPECIFY FABRIC CHOICE AT CHECKOUT OR BY EMAIL PRIOR TO PURCHASE TO HELP ME PROVIDE YOU WITH THE FASTEST SHIPMENT POSSIBLE. (fabric choices are pictured above...(front row...Safari, Ocean, back row...Reef,  Butterflies) All of my 2008 lumbar and neck/lumbar packs are DOUBLE STITCHED!!!! Who is this design best for?  This pack is designed so that it can be used for any area that needs heat or cold.  It can wrap comfortably around your neck for cervical heat/cold or it can be folded in 1/2 to make a 10x13 lumbar pack.  It can also be straightened out and draped over elbows, knees, wrists, ankles, abdomen...as well as across the shoulders.  This is a very versatile wrap and is great for many uses...sprains and strains, aches and pains, bruises and swelling, and is also great for HOT FLASHES when it is kept in the freezer!  The uses really are endless! Shipping/Handling/Payment Buyer pays $6.00 for Priority Mail shipping/delivery confirmation/handling fee for delivery in the U.S.  These packs are stuffed into a Priority Mail Envelope.  There is only room for one pack per envelope.  Shipping discounts are given for the purchase of 3 or more packs if all are being sent to one address.  If packs are being sent to seperate addresses, shipping will $6.00 per pack to each address.  Shipping handling for 2 packs is $12.00, 3-4 packs will ship to one address for just $12.85.  I mail packages 3 times a week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday.  I do charge a very small handling fee.  I don't feel that $1.20 to help cover the cost of tape, label printing, storage bag, my time packaging and then gas and time to drive to the post office is too much to ask.  You're getting expedited service at a very small cost.  Some sellers charge much more than I do for shipping and only make one run to the post office per week.  Please, only buy from me if you agree to and accept these terms.  If you are unhappy with the shipping/handling costs, please don't buy from me and then leave negative ratings, just shop elsewhere.  I'm an honest and upfront seller and do not try to hide fees or pad prices so that I can offer bogus discounts.   Do not pay for multiple packs seperately.  If you are buying more than one pack, please wait for me to send you an invoice for the total.  If you pay using PayPal, please wait for my invoice before paying.  If you pay seperately, I will refund your money back to your PayPal account and will send you an invoice with the total.  You can save time by just waiting for me to send the invoice.  To qualify for any shipping discount, you MUST pay for all items in one single payment.  If the packs are going to different addresses, each will be charged $6.00 shipping/handling as they will each require their own envelope and will not be shipped in one flat rate box.  Insurance is available for $2.00 to insure up to $50.00 if desired.  Please note that items sent without insurance are shipped at the BUYERS RISK. I accept all PAYPAL payments as well as money orders, cashier's checks, and personal checks from buyers with good feedback (with holds until cleared at the bank). EXTRA INFORMATION ABOUT CHERRY PIT PACKS... Why I don't recommend grain filled packs...  I’ve been making and selling high quality, handmade, natural heat/cold therapy wraps and packs on eBay for over 3 years.  I have been a licensed massage therapist for over 8 years.  Being a therapist has helped me to know exactly what kind of product my clients need and I design and make each wrap myself based on feedback from clients who use them.  My packs are also being sold locally by other massage therapists.  When I started making packs, I used rice as the filler and they went over well.  However, rice packs just weren't good enough for me.  I didn't like the way they smelled, or that I had to try to mask the odor by adding oils or dried herbs, or that they eventually would get moldy or buggy, and that they are not washable (sweat soaked rice stinks after a while).  They just are not very sanitary.  Although grain is a very inexpensive filler and the profit was great, I decided it was more important to make packs that I was proud to offer.  I decided to start using cherry pits.  They had everything to offer that I was looking for.  It was so worth a cut in profit to be able to offer these superior packs.  They were so well-received that I decided to make them available to more people.  Now, I'm expecting my first child and have had to limit my client load.  We're now depending on income from the sale of these packs to help get us through maternity so all sales are very much appreciated! Why should you buy a cherry pit pack instead of a rice pack?  The initial investment might be a little more than if you were buying a corn bag or a rice pack, but you really do get what you pay for.  Besides not having the offensive grain smell, cherry pit packs are much thicker (covering more area) than rice packs covering the same area.  As with grain filled packs, they can be used for cold therapy as well as heat therapy and and may go from the freezer to the microwave.  However, cherry pit packs can be washed and dried if needed if placed in a pillow case and washed on a DELICATE setting and dried on a low heat setting.  Hand-washing is preferable to make the pack last longer.  Just as with any fabric, the more you wash it, the faster it wears out and like all handmade items, it should always be treated with care.  Grain filled bags can not get wet.  Cherry pit packs can be refreshed by getting them damp if the pits begin to feel too dry.  Grain filled packs will get moldy and rot if they get wet.  The only way to refresh a grain filled pack is to throw it away and buy a new one.  Why choose my packs over others?  Well, not all heat wraps on eBay are created equal.  The similarities between mine and other is short... we all seem to use cherry pits that are shipped straight from the great state of Michigan. Now why I think mine are better...I use top quality, 100% cotton fabrics (not just any old fabric found on clearance racks but top quality fabric in great patterns that people like).  I am not currently offering this design in flannel as it just does not hold up as well as regular cotton for this many different uses.  All of these packs are DOUBLE STITCHED!  They also are very generously stuffed with 2 pounds of cherry pits which is more than most packs on eBay.  Most makers do not double stitch or fill theirs with this many because it's more time consuming and much more expensive to do when they can get by with less.  By using more pits, it makes them fuller and helps to provide longer heat.  I do not use any other fillers or scents in my packs, just 100% pure cherry pits.  I have still allowed room in each pack for the cherry pits to move just a bit in order to mold around you.  I've given every effort to go above and beyond others to insure that when you buy from me, you receive high quality, long lasting cherry pit packs, great customer service and super FAST SHIPPING that you just don't get everywhere!  As a professional licensed massage therapist, I know what I'm talking about when I say without question that these packs are the best!  In coming up with different designs and weights, I have tried and tested them all.  I will ONLY offer those that I believe in.  If you request a size that I don't think will give you the best results, I won't make it.  These packs are not just thrown together to make a buck.  I truly believe in them.      Want a different design?  If you prefer a different design to meet your specific needs, please check out my other listings or email me.  I also offer specific curved neck wraps in flannel, 3 channel 9x18-20  2.5 pound lumbar packs, 7x8 1 pound packs (great for ice packs instead of a bag of peas), 7x9 1.5 pound packs (a little fuller than the 7x8), 9x9 2 pound packs.  I'm always happy to make custom orders so if I don't offer what you want, just let me know and I'll see what I can do.  All prices are set according to the weight of the packs and all of my new 2008 packs are double stitched unless otherwise noted. Just some extra instructions and what not to do with your hot pack... This might sound like too much information but unfortunately I need to be as specific as I can about the use of these packs as not everyone has used common sense in the past...so...PLEASE ALSO NOTE:  1.  NO microwave heat therapy pack will retain heat indefinitely.  All microwaves are different.  You will need to experiment on the length of heating time by adding 10-20 seconds at a time.  Do not overheat as cherry pits WILL burn.  The heat in microwave packs generally lasts 20-30 minutes.  This is generally the recommended time to use moist heat by healthcare professionals, like myself.  There is a reason for this, your tissue can and will burn under heat for long periods.  I have had clients come to my practice with electric heating pad burns from using heat too hot and too long.  This is one reason I started making these packs.  If you fall asleep with your pack, it will not burn you.  If you feel you need more time, simply reheat the pack.  Get the pack moist if you want the heat to last longer. 2.  ALL natural therapy heat packs will have an odor of some kind.  Rice has a grainy smell (sometimes temporarily covered up by lavender or herbs), Flax has a seedy smell also temporarily covered up by lavender or herbs, Cherry Pits have a light cherry wood smell.  If you don't like the aroma of the cherry pits, the more it is used, the lighter the aroma.  Just like a new car, it will eventually not be noticeable.  If you put any pack in the microwave too long and burn the pits, that smell will never go away and you'll need to purchase a new pack.  If your microwave smells, your pack will take on that smell too.  Heat in a clean microwave, for best results. 3.  Cherry pits are not meant for human or animal consumption.  Do not eat the cherry pits.  I am not responsible if you, your child or your pet decide to eat the contents of your pack.  I know, it's ridiculous that I even have to mention this but you would be surprised what some people will do and claim... 4.  These packs are not made for kids and are not meant to be used by kids without constant supervision.  Cherry pits pose a choking hazard for one.  If you choose to let your child use your pack, do so knowing that it is not recommended.  I am not responsible for the pack or for the child if they should abuse the pack or the contents.  They are handmade and are not indestructible.  If mis-handled, they will rip.  They are not toys and should not be used as such.  If there is a sewing issue (over 400 packs sold with no sewing issues), I will be happy to refund your purchase price (shipping/handling will not be refunded) upon receipt of the pack back to me so that I can see what happened.  If the pack is ripped, I can not issue a refund.  They do not just rip without being mis-handled.  That would be like taking a golf cart out 4 wheeling and taking it back with dents and mud on it trying to claim it was driven carefully on fairways and wanting a refund because it was damaged. 5.  Again, please handle your packs with care.  Even though I use high quality fabric and double stitch them, they are still handmade and made using fabric.  The softer the fabric, the more delicate they are (flannel is much more delicate than regular cotton but both will rip if abused).  All fabric does eventually break down and will not last forever.  Just like your favorite t-shirt. 6.  I have sold hundreds of packs with no problems.  Please read my feedback (1 negative a year ago because they burned their pack and blamed me because it smelled bad...not really my fault, they evidently didn't read the instructions).  I have personally been using the same pack (flannel) for 3 years and because I treat it well, it is still as good today as it was when I made it.  After use, I put my pack back into the bag that I provide to keep it fresh.  I sometimes also place it in the freezer to help keep it fresh.  If you feel your pack needs a little life put back in it, get it wet and let it dry before putting it back in the bag.  This will keep the cherry pits from drying out totally and they will continue to provide good moist heat. MOST OF ALL, JUST USE GOOD COMMON SENSE.  IT’S NOT ROCKET SCIENCE...  :O) If you have any questions or special requests, please email me!   Please bid with complete confidence and check out my feedback!  I work very hard to provide a good eBay experience in all of my transactions by providing top quality products as well as fast and friendly service.  Payment is due within 7 days of winner’s notification.  Please do not buy if you do not intend to pay.  If payment has not been received in 7 days, a non paying buyer dispute will be filed so that I may receive listing fee credit back from eBay, the item will be re-listed and negative feedback will be given if I have not heard from you.  Feel free to email me with questions at any time! Thanks for looking, and please check out My other listings for many more great items and many different patterns to choose from!   HANDMADE IN THE USA!
